Healthcare reputation management
What patients see when they decide whether to trust you — managed deliberately.
PatientFlow provides healthcare reputation management for clinics and hospitals in India — review-generation systems, response protocols and sentiment monitoring across Google, Practo and Justdial.
Reviews are the trust signal patients weigh most heavily
Before a patient books a high-consideration treatment, they read your reviews — not a few, often fifteen or twenty. They’re checking recency, volume, sentiment, and crucially how you respond. Reviews are simultaneously a ranking signal (Google’s local pack leans on them heavily) and the single most persuasive piece of social proof you have. Yet most clinics treat reputation as something that happens to them rather than something they build.
The clinics with commanding reputations didn’t get lucky. They built a system: a steady velocity of genuine reviews, thoughtful responses, and an early-warning eye on sentiment patterns.
What’s typically broken
- Velocity gaps. A burst of reviews two years ago, then silence. Patients notice, and so does Google.
- Unanswered reviews. Especially the critical ones. A clinic that never responds reads as disengaged; a defensive reply reads worse.
- No system for asking. Reviews left entirely to chance, which means the unhappy patient (motivated) is more likely to write than the happy one (satisfied and silent).
- Reputation blind spots. Recurring complaints in reviews — wait times, billing, follow-up — that the owner never aggregates and so never fixes.
Our approach
A real review-generation system
We design an ethical, operational system your team can run: the right post-treatment moment, a WhatsApp prompt the front desk sends, and a frictionless one-tap link. The aim is a sustainable velocity of genuine reviews — never bought, never incentivised, because those are exactly the ones that backfire.
Response protocols
Templates and judgement for responding to reviews — gracious to the positive, measured and human to the critical. Done well, a thoughtful response to a negative review builds more trust than the review costs you.
Sentiment benchmarking
We track sentiment and volume against your closest competitors, so you know where you’re genuinely winning and where you’re being out-positioned. We surface recurring themes in your reviews — the operational issues worth fixing at source.
Multi-platform hygiene
Google as the priority, with Practo, Justdial and specialty directories managed to the extent your patients use them. Consistent presence, accurate information, and a flagging process for reviews that genuinely violate platform policy.

What we don’t do
- Buy, incentivise or fabricate reviews. It’s a policy and legal risk, and it’s the fastest way to lose a reputation rather than build one.
- Suppress legitimate criticism. We help you respond to it well — which is far more effective.
- Promise removals we can’t control. We prepare proper policy-violation flags; the platform decides.
Who this is for
Any established clinic where patients read reviews before booking — which, in high-consideration care, is all of them. Particularly valuable for clinics whose review velocity has stalled, or who’ve never had a system for turning satisfied patients into public proof. Reputation is one of eight areas we manage for clinics and hospitals.
Reviews & reputation across specialisms
Every high-consideration specialism is review-sensitive, but in different ways — so we prioritise platforms and review velocity accordingly:
- Dental clinics — among the most review-sensitive specialisms; recent Google and Practo reviews drive both local ranking and the booking decision.
- Orthopaedic clinics — patients facing surgery read twenty-plus reviews before even a second-opinion consultation.
- IVF & fertility clinics — anxious couples scrutinise reviews and your responses for reassurance over a long decision.
- Cosmetic surgery — outcome-led reviews and thoughtful responses underpin premium positioning.
- Dermatology & aesthetic clinics — steady review velocity signals an active, trusted clinic to both patients and Google.
- LASIK & eye-care clinics — safety-conscious patients weigh reviews heavily before elective eye surgery.
- Hair-restoration clinics — genuine reviews counter the discount-mill scepticism patients bring to the category.
In every case we build an ethical, operational system for earning real reviews — never bought, never incentivised.
Service FAQs
No. Ever. Fake reviews are a policy violation, a legal risk under India’s consumer-protection rules, and increasingly detectable by platforms. We build systems to ethically prompt and capture real reviews from actual patients — which is also what survives scrutiny long-term.
We help craft response protocols and surface patterns worth acting on. We don’t suppress legitimate negative reviews — that’s both impossible and counterproductive. A clinic with only five-star reviews reads as fake; a clinic that responds thoughtfully to the occasional critical one reads as real.
Google first, almost always — it’s where intent-driven patients look and it feeds local-pack ranking. Practo and Justdial matter in specific specialisms and cities. We benchmark where your patients actually check and prioritise accordingly.
An operational system, not nagging. The right moment (just after a positive outcome), the right channel (usually a WhatsApp message your front desk sends), and a one-tap link straight to the review form. Friction is the enemy; we remove it.
We can help you flag reviews that violate platform policy and prepare the documentation platforms require. We can’t guarantee removal — platforms decide — but a structured flagging process succeeds far more often than an angry reply does.
